Stone Set Stacking Rings

Service Description

Immerse yourself in a day of creativity whilst making yourself a set of stacking rings, one of which will be set with a stone of your choice. TELL ME MORE......... This day starts with making your set of 3 rings. With careful measuring, cutting, forming, soldering, you will be blown away with your skills!! Next you will solder on a pre made bezel cup to hold the stone. After a break to refuel with lunch you will polish up the rings and set the stone, then admire your handy work! IS THIS CLASS RIGHT FOR ME?........ Whether you are a beginner or a jeweller in training, this course is a great class, however it is a little more technical than some of our other classes. Setting stones requires using pressure to push the metal over the stones. Please be aware that jewellery making can be tough on the hands, so if you suffer from hand problems it might be worth getting in touch to see if this is right for you. This class is for over 18's only WHAT SHOULD I BRING?........ Please bring some lunch! We will take a short break in the middle of the day to refuel. We will also keep you topped up with refreshments and sweet treats throughout the day. A notebook is a good idea, as well as glasses if you need them THE IMPORTANT BIT...... Please ensure that long hair is tied back and that you do not wear floaty sleeves or open toe shoes. Your safety is our priority! Over 18's only This class runs from 10am-3pm, although the end time is approximate and may run over slightly Please note - We require a minimum attendance for this workshop to go ahead. If this is not met, we will offer you an alternative date or a refund We can't wait to see you!
