Service Description

Welcome to our parent & teen class, designed for some time together making memories, being creative, each having a keepsake to treasure. TELL ME MORE........... You will each make a silver ring using 4mm wide silver for a chunky yet wearable piece. You will learn how to personalise your ring using designs or letters and number stamps with lots of practice time before moving onto your silver. You can also choose if you would like to texture your silver to make it sparkle. There's lots of techniques involved in the process, such as measuring, heating, filing, soldering, polishing. All the hard work is always admired when you pop your finished ring on to wear home. IS THIS CLASS RIGHT FOR ME?........ Whether you are a total beginner or a jeweller in training, this course is a great one. Please be aware that jewellery making can be tough on the hands, so if you suffer from hand problems it might be worth getting in touch to see if this is right for you. This class is for age 12 and over, teen to attend with an adult WHAT SHOULD I BRING?........ A notebook is a good idea if you're keen to make more, as well as glasses if you need them. No need to bring drinks unless you have something specific you enjoy. We will keep you topped up with tea, coffee, cordial and sweet treats throughout the session. THE IMPORTANT BIT...... Please ensure that long hair is tied back and that you do not wear floaty sleeves or open toe shoes. Your safety is our priority! This class runs from 6.30-9.30pm, although the end time is approximate and may run over slightly Over 18's only Please note - We require a minimum attendance for this workshop to go ahead.
