*NEW* Stone Set Pendant

Service Description

This new class is perfect for those who love a touch of colour in their jewellery. TELL ME MORE......... You will start the class by making a silver ring to the size of your choice and adding a little texture to make the silver sparkle. This will involve measuring, cutting, and soldering, great jewellers skills!! We will then add the pre made setting to your design and polish it all up before setting your chosen stone in the centre and popping onto a chain. These necklaces are so lovely to wear as well as make. IS THIS CLASS RIGHT FOR ME?........ Whether you are a beginner or a jeweller in training, this course is a great class, however it is a little more technical than some of our other classes. Setting stones requires using pressure to push the metal over the stones. Please be aware that jewellery making can be tough on the hands, so if you suffer from hand problems it might be worth getting in touch to see if this is right for you. This class is for over 18's only WHAT SHOULD I BRING?........ Please bring some lunch! We will take a short break in the middle of the day to refuel. We will also keep you topped up with refreshments and sweet treats throughout the day. A notebook is a good idea, as well as glasses if you need them THE IMPORTANT BIT...... Please ensure that long hair is tied back and that you do not wear floaty sleeves or open toe shoes. Your safety is our priority! Over 18's only This class runs from 10am-2pm, although the end time is approximate and may run over slightly Please note - We require a minimum attendance for this workshop to go ahead. If this is not met, we will offer you an alternative date or a refund We can't wait to see you!
