We'll explore the advanced technique of cloisonné enamel, which allows you to create intricate designs with vibrant colours. This method involves creating thin metal wires to form compartments or "cloisons" that are filled with enamel and then fired to create a smooth surface. It's a perfect opportunity for those looking to refine their existing enamelling skills and develop a deeper understanding of the world of enamel. We will provide you with copper for practice pieces as well as silver to make a pendant as your masterpiece IS THIS CLASS RIGHT FOR ME? This workshop is a must for passionate jewellers who have an eye for colour and detail. You'll gain hands-on experience in designing and executing your own cloisonné pieces, leaving with stunning, colourful creations that showcase your creativity and craftsmanship. This class is not suitable for beginners Over 18's only WHAT SHOULD I BRING?........ Please bring some lunch! We will take a short break in the middle of the day to refuel. We will also keep you topped up with refreshments and sweet treats throughout the day. A notebook is a good idea, as well as glasses if you need them THE IMPORTANT BIT...... Please ensure that long hair is tied back and that you do not wear floaty sleeves or open toe shoes. Your safety is our priority!
