Dive into the artful world of silversmithing with our Silver Spoon Workshop. There is something so special about hand crafted homeware. Silver spoons are a wonderful luxury item that are fun to make and lovely to use. Functional yet beautiful. Perfect for gifting or using for your Christmas tableware!! TELL ME MORE....... This hands-on session will guide you through the process of creating a beautiful and functional silver spoon from start to finish. You'll learn essential techniques such as forming, filing, and polishing, as well as how to work with silver to achieve professional-quality results. The finished spoon will be approximately 10cm in length. IS THIS CLASS RIGHT FOR ME?........ Whether you are a beginner or a jeweller in training, this course is a great class, however it is a little more technical than some of our other classes ands will require some more advanced soldering techniques. Please be aware that jewellery making can be tough on the hands, so if you suffer from hand problems it might be worth getting in touch to see if this is right for you. This class is for over 18's only WHAT SHOULD I BRING?........ Please bring some lunch! We will take a short break in the middle of the day to refuel. We will also keep you topped up with refreshments and sweet treats throughout the day. A notebook is a good idea, as well as glasses if you need them THE IMPORTANT BIT...... Please ensure that long hair is tied back and that you do not wear floaty sleeves or open toe shoes. Your safety is our priority! Over 18's only This class runs from 10am-4pm, although the end time is approximate and may run over slightly Please note - We require a minimum attendance for this workshop to go ahead.
