*BEGINNERS DAY* Bangle & Ring

Service Description

Our beginners day course is a great full day for those who are new to jewellery making and keen to learn a new skill. You will make a silver bangle and a ring using textures and patterns of your choice to take home with you. TELL ME MORE........ This day will give you an in depth introduction into jewellery making by teaching you the vital skills needed. You will learn how to measure, calculate, cut and form a silver bangle. You will get hands on with the gas torch and solder your bangle to make it one solid piece, always a highlight for us jewellers!! After a lunch break we will make a silver ring. This will use similar skills to those needed for the bangle but on a different scale. You will be given a choice of wires to use for the ring as well as the option to use stamps as part of your design. This is where you can make it personal to you. IS THIS CLASS RIGHT FOR ME?........ Whether you are a total beginner or a jeweller in training, this course is a great one. We really do focus our attention to this being something you can continue at home after if you want to take it further, kits are available to purchase should this become a new love! Please be aware that jewellery making can be tough on the hands, so if you suffer from hand problems it might be worth getting in touch to see if this is right for you. This class is for over 18's only WHAT SHOULD I BRING?........ Please bring some lunch! We will take a short break in the middle of the day to refuel. We will also keep you topped up with refreshments and sweet treats throughout the day. A notebook is a good idea, as well as glasses if you need them THE IMPORTANT BIT...... Please ensure that long hair is tied back and that you do not wear floaty sleeves or open toe shoes. Your safety is our priority! This class runs from 10am-4pm, although the end time is approximate and may run over slightly Please note - We require a minimum attendance for this workshop to go ahead. If this is not met, we will offer you an alternative date or a refund We can't wait to see you there!
