Welcome to our Design + Create Jewellers programme, a course designed to encourage and inspire you on your jewellery making journey. TELL ME MORE....... Aimed at those wishing to further their silversmithing skills, this part time year long programme will teach you new techniques and encourage you to develop your own designs. There will be 6 projects over the year, designed to give you a great variety of skills. Projects will be completed at home in your own time or you can book onto our bench hire makers sessions so we can support you further. Working in academic terms, you will be set a new project each half term. We will meet up at the start of each project to give you a demonstration and provide you with your materials pack with instructions and a suggested tools list. Each term we will also give you business advice to help build your brand. There will be advice for promotion, social media, pricing your work and so much more. Lots of great tips will be shared. IS THIS COURSE RIGHT FOR ME?…. To join this course you will need to be able to work on your projects independently, meaning a workshop set up at home, or be able to book yourself onto the makers sessions we run at the cabin. We require you to be confident working with silver and have basic stone setting skills too. The aim of the course is to share with you a higher level of technical skills as well as encouraging you to design things in your own way and developing your own style. PLEASE NOTE This is not suitable for total beginners The demonstrations will take place on Monday evenings at 6.30pm at The Jewellery Cabin, so you will need to be available to attend these.
