*PARENT & TEEN* Bangle & stamped charm

Service Description

This is the perfect class to come with your teen, spend some quality time together as well as making some beautiful bangles TELL ME MORE........ This day will give you an introduction into jewellery making by teaching you the vital skills needed. You will learn how to measure, calculate, cut and form a silver bangle. You will get hands on with the gas torch and solder your bangle to make it one solid piece, always a highlight for us jewellers!! Once the bangle has been textured to your liking you will work on your charm. Using a pre cut disc, you will be able to stamp an initial or design onto the charm to add to the bangle, before polishing it up and wearing it with pride IS THIS CLASS RIGHT FOR ME?........ Whether you are a total beginner or a jeweller in training, this course is a great one. Please be aware that jewellery making can be tough on the hands, so if you suffer from hand problems it might be worth getting in touch to see if this is right for you. This class is for a parent and teen to come together. Age 12 and over please WHAT SHOULD I BRING?........ A notebook is a good idea if you're keen to make more, as well as glasses if you need them. Please bring some lunch. We will take a short break to refuel. No need to bring drinks unless you have something specific you enjoy. We will keep you topped up with tea, coffee, cordial and sweet treats throughout the day. THE IMPORTANT BIT...... Please ensure that long hair is tied back and that you do not wear floaty sleeves or open toe shoes. Your safety is our priority! This class runs from 10am-2pm, although the end time is approximate and may run over slightly Parents are to attend with the teen, who must be 12 or over Please note - We require a minimum attendance for this workshop to go ahead. If this is not met, we will offer you an alternative date or a refund When booking this session please add just one participant, as this will cover you for both the adult and teen.
