Learn how to make a beautiful set 3 of fine Gold rings (14k gold filled wire) TELL ME MORE....... Learning all the skills needed for jewellery making, you will immerse yourself in the art of ring making on this session, using textures to personalise the rings for you to wear and love. You will learn how to measure, calculate, cut, form, solder and polish, what a lot of skills!! You will use gold filled wire, which has a base metal core surrounded in a thick layer of 14ct gold, giving you the gold to wear but for a more reasonable price. PLEASE NOTE If you have reactions to base metal this may still react with your skin. IS THIS CLASS RIGHT FOR ME?........ Whether you are a total beginner or a jeweller in training, this course is a great one. Please be aware that jewellery making can be tough on the hands, so if you suffer from hand problems it might be worth getting in touch to see if this is right for you. Also we need to be a touch more delicate with golf filled wire than with silver so we don't destroy the outer layer, so quick reactions when soldering and a gentle hand when filing will really help! This class is for over 18's only WHAT SHOULD I BRING?........ A notebook is a good idea if you're keen to make more, as well as glasses if you need them. No need to bring drinks unless you have something specific you enjoy. We will keep you topped up with tea, coffee, cordial and sweet treats throughout the session. THE IMPORTANT BIT...... Please ensure that long hair is tied back and that you do not wear floaty sleeves or open toe shoes. Your safety is our priority! This class runs from 6.30-9.30pm, although the end time is approximate and may run over slightly Over 18's only Please note - We require a minimum attendance for this workshop to go ahead. If this is not met, we will offer you an alternative date or a refund We can't wait to see you!
